The international dimension
Thanks to a bilingual French-German curriculum in nursery, a reinforced French-German-English curriculum and international sections, pupils can take a trilingual International French Baccalaureate if they wish. The school also offers the opportunity to gain official language qualifications, such as the DSD or IELTS.
Support right up to the baccalaureate
Aware that it's not easy to choose a career path at the age of 15, the Lycée Français de Zurich guarantees that all its students can take a general baccalaureate, without any selection at the entrance. The education provided is recognised by the Canton of Zurich's Department of Education. The quality of the teaching has been proven, with excellent exam results and 50 percent of students going on to Swiss universities!
Living together
Created by parents, the school is still managed financially and legally by parents elected by their peers, in the form of a non-profit association. It is these family values of mutual support and community that make the school so special! This human dimension allows a close-knit teaching team.
